UV fluorescence

UV fluorescence is one of the most widely used and reliable security techniques for documents. With special inks or fibres that only become visible under UV light, your documents receive an invisible yet powerful protective layer that makes counterfeiting virtually impossible.

How it works

  • Fluorescent inks or materials that are normally invisible to the naked eye.
  • Only when exposed to a UV lamp (blacklight) do they light up in bright colours or patterns.
  • Counterfeiters cannot replicate this effect with standard printing or copying equipment.

Security

  • It is invisible to the naked eye and easy to verify with UV light.
  • Only authorised parties generally have access to the lamps needed to verify authenticity.
  • The effect cannot be copied with ordinary equipment.
