EcoVadis Silver Medal
Group Joos has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, recognizing our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in areas such as environmental management, human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
With a score of 70/100, we rank among the top 4% of companies in our industry. EcoVadis, which has already assessed more than 130,000 organizations worldwide, recognizes our commitment to sustainability through this distinction. We will continue to strive for even better results and aim for an even higher score in the next assessment.
United Nations SDG Pioneer
Sustainable entrepreneurship is an integral part of Group Joos' DNA. To further strengthen our commitment, we launched a structured sustainability programme in partnership with Voka.
For three consecutive years, Group Joos received a positive evaluation from a team of independent experts, resulting each year in the achievement of the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO). As a result of these achievements, we were also awarded the United Nations UNITAR Certificate in October 2022 and recognised as an SDG Pioneer.
Today, the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) continue to serve as a key foundation of our sustainability policy.
The United Nations groups these goals into the 5 Ps: People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace. We translate these five pillars into concrete actions that guide our daily operations and business practices.

Environmental Policy and Initiatives
We operate within an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system. This enables us to continuously monitor our processes and quickly make improvements whenever needed.
Environmental Care
We strive to reduce energy consumption, chemical waste, and packaging materials. Our environmental coordinator continuously monitors our impact and implements improvements.
Green Mobility
We encourage employees to cycle to work and prioritize electric company vehicles.
Recyclable Packaging
Our products are packaged using recyclable materials, and we work closely with certified waste management partners.
Sustainable Paper Use
We promote FSC® and PEFC-certified paper and actively advise customers on environmentally responsible choices.
