About T’ANtWOORD
T’ANtWOORD is a recognised organisation fighting poverty and social exclusion. It receives subsidies from the Flemish Department of Welfare and the city of Turnhout, and is part of the Flemish Network Against Poverty.
The organisation actively focuses on six core objectives:
- bringing together people living in poverty
- giving a voice to people in poverty
- working on social emancipation
- addressing structural societal issues
- promoting dialogue and awareness
- continuing to reach out to people in or near poverty
Its visitors include vulnerable families with children, people receiving increased benefits, newcomers with limited language skills, socially isolated individuals, single parents, low-income workers, homeless people and elderly people with limited pensions.
